Good day in church. We had 2 missionaries with us today. The Flecks showed their DVD of the ministry in the Marshall Islands and Brad preached in the morning. Anne Dreisbach showed her pictures of her work in Suriname in the evening.
Sunday School was good. All the children were there before we started at 9:30. I did the lesson today - Feeding of the 5,000. Went well. Also reviewed all our verses aloud since the worksheet was a verse review. Hard to believe that next week is the end of the quarter and the teaching year.
Did the copying of the coloring books for next year. Using the Bible alphabet coloring sheets. Tomorrow I'll fix up the folders and put the pictures in them.
We had the VanderSchels over for the afternoon. Ken grilled hamburgers and they were good. I had made homemade buns and they were good, too. It started raining after the grill was on but stopped and got sunny before very long. Also made corn-on-the-cob. We have enough buns, fruit salad, and corn-on-the-cob leftover for tomorrow night's dinner with the Hunters. Anyway, we had a good meal. The kids enjoyed playing Wii Resort. Izaac tried a couple things and I think he's hooked. Kim said he told her that they have to get that game. We all rested (napped or read) for about an hour before having ice cream and going back to church.
Stayed awhile after church in the evening (did my copying) and visited with the Flecks. Had leftover pizza when we got home and watched the rest of Milltown Pride. Then we played 18 holes of Frisbee Golf and a bit of Ping Pong return challenge.
Praying for a good night's sleep tonight. Shouldn't be too busy of a day tomorrow... but, we'll see.
