Daffodils blooming today!

Left a little early for Outlook today and ran some errands. Dropped some books off at Once Upon a Child. Stopped a couple places to see about engraving for the clock for Mark and Bekah. Ended up Uptown and got it ordered for just $6.75. Affordable. Also made a camp deposit. Pretty quiet at Outlook today. The ladies let me read and then I played the organ. Played the Grandmother songs and Mary sang along. The other ladies were quiet and listening. Stopped to see Lori on the way out and she was having printer problems. Helped her a little and left her at the front desk getting help. Then I ran a couple more errands. Mailed some camp information to a pastor that called from NY.

By the time I picked the boys up it was looking pretty stormy. We stopped at Wendy's for some little Frosties and then went to Once Upon a Child. I got $9.60 for the books. We weren't home for too long when it started hailing. The really interesting thing about this storm was that it was coming from the northwest so the north sides of all the trees were wet! The temperatures also began dropping - about 20* at the tail end of the front - from upper 60's in the afternoon to 45* now at midnight.

The boys and I went out on the porch and watched. They thought it was pretty cool. Started picking up hailstones and throwing them to the street. Pretty soon we had to go in since we were getting pummeled with hailstones. We went to the back and looked out. Joshua went out and picked up hailstones in his Wendy's cup with his spoon.

By supper time the sky was beginning to clear. By the time we got to church the skies were clear and bright. The front parking lot at church was covered with red blossoms from the big tree out in front.

Talked with several people after church. Nice to visit with folks. Also had a nice visit with Mark. Found out that he's taking a class from Northland that began this week. He did all the reading ahead of time and listens to the lectures on his MP3 player while he runs. He did have a little "scare" last week when he found out on Friday (in a very interesting way via Facebook with a friend who is in Africa) that for some reason he had registered for the class February 1st and been "unregistered." So, he did some quick paperwork (had to be done in less than an hour) and got registered!

Got home late but played some Wii Fit and Frisbee Golf.
