Blogger is all new this evening. So, we'll have to see how this goes...

Slept a little later this morning. Our last night on the old mattress. Ken figured it out to be about 12-14 years old... We'd have to do a little more research to figure out when we bought it. It's probably in the file cabinet...

Took the bedroom apart and put the mattress pad in the washing machine. Went to Bob Evans for breakfast with our 2nd two-for-one coupon. We went to the Bob Evans at Polaris and then went to Home Depot to look at counter tops. Looked a bit at faucets but never made it to the tile. Mind boggling... but we did get a little further along.

Rather warm today - 92 was the high. It actually got a bit cool in the house this afternoon since the a.c. was running.

I worked on the computer - camp registrations, prayer meeting email update, S.S. email, etc. - and Ken mowed the lawn. After he was done, he came out of the garage and there was a raccoon. Came in and I called Animal Control. We tried to get a trash can over it but it just kept on walking up the street (east). Vicky came out and another lady got home from work. She tried to lure it over with dog food. It went into another back yard. The other lady thought it had something wedged in its mouth. I went to the library to pick up a book on reserve. Ken said the Animal Control came and he showed them where we'd last seen it. After I got back and we were sitting on the porch looking at the newspapers, we saw them go by. I don't think they found it because it looked like they were still driving slowly and looking.

We finally ate supper about 4:30 and then the phone call came from the mattress delivery truck. They were 45 minutes away. They brought the 2 mattress foundations in first and then they had to "fold" the mattress in half to get it upstairs. They folded the old one to take it down. They said it was their last delivery of the day.

Put the bed back together and moved some of the things back into the bedroom. Finished up things for S.S. this Sunday. Didn't get the Esther Bible study out via email... maybe tomorrow night from camp. So tired that we didn't even exercise. We wanted Frances Logsdon Burnett's Little Princess on DVD.
